Regional Contests

China | Mexico | France | UK | India | Korea | Japan | Southeast Asia


This year the Hit Like A Girl Contest will feature “Regional” contests in China, Mexico, France, England, India, Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia. These special events are intended to encourage female drumming in underserved areas of the world. Participating in the online video contest offers local drummers visibility and the opportunity to win prizes in both the regional and international competitions.

While Chinese contestants must enter through the portal on the 9Beats App, contestants in Mexico, France , England, India, Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia are automatically entered into their regional contest when they enter the main Hit Like A Girl contest. Entries from these countries will be compete under the rules of the main contest and will also be judged by a panel of drummers from their home country and are eligible for special prizes from local sponsors.
