So Mar Drummers, Incorporated, in conjunction with HLAG and a special grant, is pleased to announce a FREE TUITION SCHOLARSHIP for one specially-selected recipient to attend the 3rd Annual Mid-Atlantic Drum Set Camp, July 16-20, 2023 in St. Mary’s City, Maryland. This annual camp is designed for young drummers, 9-22 years old and includes instruction by artists and educators at the top of their drumming game. Students are divided into separate skill groups to ensure they receive one on one attention from artists such as Greyson Nekrutman, Steve Lyman, David Stanoch, Willie Howell, Aaron Bertoglio and 2020 Hit Like A Girl Champsion Sheila Klotz..
This year’s HLAG SoMar Drummers Camp Scholarship winner also will receive private lessons with 2020 HLAG Champion Sheila Klotz and other top instructors – at no additional cost. The full tuition scholarship ($700 value) includes room and board PLUS private lessons.
NOTE: Transportation to and from the camp is not provided in the award. Winner will be announced by HLAG at the conclusion of the 11th Annual Hit Like A Girl International Drum Set Contest. Winners should bring their own drums. If the winner cannot bring their own drums, a 4-piece drum set will be provided.
