Alp Doğan Türeci was born in 1988 in Istanbul. He started playing drums at the age of 12 and studied with musicians like Arıkan Sırakaya, Cem Aksel, Şenol Küçükyıldırım. He has a bachelor’s degree of jazz drums from Yıldız Technical University. Since 2005 he has been working with various artists in live, tv and studio settings. He is currently playing drums for the singer Sıla. 

Lale Kardeş, best known for her band The Ringo Jets, studied Jazz Drums at Bilgi University and she joined forces with artists such as Anadol and İlhan Erşahin, when she wasn’t busy touring with her band, TRJ. She usually plays in the styles of the 60s and 70s and holds a rare title as the first female drummer with her own signature cymbal series from Turkish Cymbals.

An accomplished drummer and composer, with 20 years of professional musical experience, Jorge Chávez is a well-known musician of the alternative music scene in Mexico. His experience has enabled him to perform in different venues in Mexico and abroad, having participated in music festivals such as: Vive Latino (Mexico City, MX), Rock X la Vida (Guadalajara, MX) and South By Southwest (Austin, US) for 4 years, Sonorama (Guadalajara, MX) and 212 (Guadalajara, MX) for 3 years, along with Rock al Parque (Bogota, CO), White Nights Festival (Perm, RU), Ruido Fest (Chicago, IL), Roskilde Festival (Denmark) and many more.

Jorge has a wide musical profile and is proficient in a diverse selection of musical styles (Jazz, Funk, Metal, Rock, Blues, Electronic, Pop and Noise) and is known for well as influence of Mexican folkloric music in his compositions.

He does sound design and arranging for studio recordings and live presentations through the use of toys, trash cans, pots, pans, percussion, samplers and ambient recordings. In addition, he has a background in musical studies from the Music School of the University of Guadalajara (1997-2000) and has taken private lessons and clinics from several drummers both foreign and domestic.

He is currently giving private and public lessons for the EAM (Escuela Alternativa de Musica) in Mexico City and, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, he has remained very active as an online music/drum teacher. Recently, he was invited as a host for OFFBEAT MX (YouTube Channel dedicated to the art of Drums) and participated in a drum duet with Milo Tamez called “Exploraciones Bateriológicas” for “Música UNAM”.

Jean Gonzalez is a Venezuelan professional drummer who lives in Mexico and has played for different bands & musicians such as Alicia Villarreal and Kumbia Kings.

For several years, Jean has performed in Mexico on tours, recordings, live sessions— offering clinics and masterclasses and collaborating in other activities in person and virtually as far as music is concerned.

He is currently fully supporting the “House Of Worship Solution” project with Yamaha.

Mexican drummer, percussionist and vocalist Karina Colis graduated Summa Cum Laude in Berklee College of Music and is currently based in New York. For over 20 years Karina has been member of several projects having performed at international festivals and renowned venues such as Birdland Jazz Club and Lincoln Center in New York, John F Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and at Jazz Festivals in India as well as International Circuit in Bahrain the Middle East , WOMAD in UK, “Virada Cultural” in Brazil, Montreal Jazz Festival in Canada, JazzTales Festival in Egypt, Vive Latino in Mexico to name only a few.

Karina has also collaborated with acclaimed pop artist Talhia, jazz singer/bass player Esperanza Spalding, Grammy Award winning saxophonist Paquito D Rivera, Panamanian singer/songwriter Rubén Blades, OITNB’s Carrie “Big Boo” Black’s Lea Delaria, Benny Benack and Allan Harris among many more. She also shared stage with Antonio Sanchez, Isac Delgado, Armando Manzanero and Claudia Acuña.

As an educator, Karina has given workshops and clinics at Berklee College of Music, Central Washington University, Bellas Artes, JAZUV and Centro de Las Artes in Mexico. She has also traveled regularly to India to teach at the Swarnaboomi Academy of Music.

Siddhi Shah is a drummer by passion and a performer by nature. Having had quite an artistic upbringing, she soon came to see Art as a true form of expression before embarking on her musical journey. She has been conducting private drum classes by the name DrumCore and has tutored several students over the years, helping them with their drumming skills as well as Trinity/Rockschool grade exams.Currently, Siddhi is a Freelancing drummer & percussionist, exploring various Genres with several independent artists and bands. She plays the Drum Kit, Cajon, Djembe, Darbuka and Roland SPDSX.

A world record holder for playing drum continuously for 31 hours, Srishty Paditar is a software engineer turned drummer to follow her passion. She has been featured by “The Better India”, “Amazing things people do in world”, “Business Standard” “Wittyfeed”, “India’s Pride”, Tamil Vikatan magazine and has been interviewed by many leading news channels. She has performed in VH1 Supersonic Pune (2020) with Madame Gandhi and has performed in two seasons of Women of Rhythm. She has judged various music competitions mainly at EPFO, Daly college. Currently she conducts drum classes by name Drum It Academy and simultaneously working on her own singles and solo creations. Professionally working as a freelance drummer, exploring percussion and many other instruments and diving deep into the flow.

Composer and arranger for many bands and Performing Arts Companies in Cuba like PerCuba Ensemble; Aceituna sin Hueso (Flamenco Ensemble); Teatro de la Luna (Performing Arts); Macuba Teatro (Performing Arts); Folklorico Cutumba (AfroCuban Dance Company); among others.

In 2007 visited Australia as a teacher, training students from different ages and musical levels, creating a Cuban Music Department and Jazz/Mambo Orchestras in different schools. Performed and recorded with prestigious musicians like James Morrison, Mark Isaacs and the band The Cat Empire.

Moved to Canada in 2014 to record and tour with Jane Bunnett as part of the to be JUNO Award Winner female jazz band Maqueque in 2015. Was nominated to JUNO Awards with The Battle of Santiago in 2018 and founded her project OKAN with whom got the Award for Independent Music in 2019; among others.

Chosen to be part of a Jury at the Hit Like A Girl 2017 world contest placed in Los Angeles, CA.

Been playing percussion for over 20 years she is a specialist in World Percussion and Drumming and recognized not only for playing and recording with great musicians but also her World Percussion Workshops and teaching work at different schools. Featured and interviewed many times on different Radio and Television Stations such as CBC, Jazz FM91; CIUT 89.5FM; etc.

Venezuelan musician, Orestes Gomez was born in San Cristóbal, Táchira State. He discovered the drums of Venezuelan folk music at the age of 3. When he turned 6, he entered the National System of Youth Orchestras of Venezuela – the largest musical movement of young people in Latin America -, where he specialized in Latin and Afro-Venezuelan percussion. In 2007, he joined the National Children’s Symphony of Venezuela, of Maestro Gustavo Dudamel (current director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Los Angeles), to later become a musician in the Simón Bolivar Symphonic Band. His talent, dedication and relevance as one of the most important musicians in the South American country, have allowed him to participate 5 times in the convention “The NAMM” in Los Angeles, United States of America, representing different international brands and touring with different artists. With his music, Orestes has had the chance to surprise the audiences of: Holland, Portugal, France, Belgium, Spain, the United States of America, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, his native Venezuela, Curaçao, Aruba and many more.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists such as: Wisin, Alexis and Fido, La Vida Bohéme, McKlopedia, Moderato, Sabino, Akapellah, Lil Supa, Rafael “El Pollo” Brito, C4 Trío, Achilles Báez, Los Amigos Invisibles, Caloncho and Centavrvs among many others. Experiencia Curiara, the name of his most recent release, is the first project that brings Venezuelan traditional music to new places where it meets jazz, Latin rhythms, hip-hop and the undeniable virtuosity that is displayed on the stage by all the musicians who accompany him. A concert that leaves one with an open mouth, after moving with sounds to a remote town on the coasts of Venezuela, going through different regions of Latin America to reach the greatest current rhythms such as jazz or hip-hop, an unparalleled sound and visual experience.
