Thèrése DiMuzio

Thèrése DiMuzio is a professional drummer, vocalist and disc-jockey based out of Massachusetts. She has toured extensively in the US/Canada and has performed with the Boston Pops, recorded with Grammy award winner Bill Harley, has sung for the 44th President of The United States, Barak Obama and regularly for political dignitaries.

She’s been involved in the music industry her whole life, working alongside her father who was Director of Artist Relations for the Avedis Zildjian Cymbal Company for 42 years, and Sabian Cymbal Company for 12 years. With this wonderful bond they collaborated and published a book about the percussion industry called “Tales From the Cymbal Bag”.

She is an Executive Director for the American Federation of Musicians, US/Canada. Her business, New England Beat, books live and digital entertainment for events. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Cultural Council, Massachusetts Labor Guild, and Greater Boston Labor Council AFL-CIO.

Her greatest accomplishment is her two daughters who are very successful choral and music technology educators.
