Andrea Arenas

Andrea Arenas graduated in Electronic Engineering and developed her career as a Sound Engineer. Andrea’s latest jobs include being part of the sound team for different Cirque du Soleil shows such as At Sea, Luzia, Amaluna and Totem. With almost 15 years of experience, she focuses her sound career in live sound, musical production, recording and mixing.

Her professional experiences in sound ranges from working in recording productions with the Deutsche Grammophon, Gustavo Dudamel and symphonic orchestras from “El Sistema”, as well as technical support of Digico consoles and other recognized brands with Hermes Music for bands such as Maná, Vicente Fernández, Ricky Martin, etc.

In her musical career, Andrea started playing percussion at the age of 10, participating in multiple tours with the Symphonic Youth Orchestra of Venezuela playing with important conductors as Gustavo Dudamel and Claudio Abbado in very important Halls around the world, Andrea belongs to a generation of outstanding musicians emerging from Venezuela’s El Sistema. She also studied composing at the Ars Nova Music School in Venezuela. And currently develops personal music projects and compositions.

Currently, Andrea has started a Masters program on Cultural Management. She actively participates as a volunteer for the Soundgirls community and She is also part of the Music Forward mentoring program.
