Yuka Kudo

I was born in Yamagata, Japan.
I started playing the piano from age six.
In university, I was in the collage of music.
I encountered the drums then.
After graduating from university,
I majored in drums at the YAMAHA Music Conservatory, and I started working as a drummer in Osaka.

In 2009, I returned to Yamagata and began teaching drums. At the same time, I started live performances in earnest.

I am currently based in Shonai, Yamagata. I give lessons, supporting performances and recordings, and performance activities of my original band “Blowfish”.

“Do what you want to do” is my motto.
In 2019, I participated in a female drummer-only camp in Germany.
I will continue to challenge myself to new things.

I really liked your preformance! Your university background is very impressive. Contratulations on such a “vibrant” showing. One of my sons (Brian) lives in Chiba prefecture and works for the De Na Bay Stars baseball team. Now he will need to vote for me and for you, too.

I just voted for you. Again, your performance is peppy and on the beat. Keep giving lessons to share your skill. Thanks for sharing your talent here.

Congratulations for your 2d place award. I told you during the contest that you are very skilled. My band didn’t place this year, but hopefully we can get an “Achievement Award” like in 2018. They are not named yet. Anyway, thank you for sharing your talent for us to see. Diane
