I am Reese Gieder and I am 14 years old. I love music and started music lessons when I was 6. I played
guitar and bass and loved both. Then, when I was 10, I was introduced to the drums and I decided I
really wanted to be a drummer. Although I still dabble with string instruments, drums are my life. This video is my very first attempt at double pedal. I loved learning it and want to continue working my double pedal.
I am the drummer for a South Florida gigging band called Beautiful Disaster. My band is an all-girl trio
including my twin sister, and we play popular music from the 70s-today. We love to play grunge and
heavier rock. In our spare time we focus on doing charity work for local charities. We volunteer our time
and talents to help raise money and donations. One of our favorite charities is Smith Smiles which
donates new toys to hospitals across the US to give children some of the comforts of home while they
are going through scary health experiences. I have personally done donations in South Florida, North
Florida, Alabama, Pennsylvania and soon to be Hawaii!
Helping people is what I enjoy. So, when I grow up I want to continue to do charity work and I want to
teach science and music to elementary and middle school kids. It would be great to also make a living
playing the drums as performing live is the best feeling in the world!
I want to thank Rocky Rucker, Doug Puhl, my bandmates, friends and most of all my family for helping me with this video.
