Camila Iorio, argentinian drummer. She was born on September 20th in Buenos Aires City, Argentina.
At the age of 15 she started playing the bass and 3 years later she finally started taking drum lessons with her first teacher Ariel Pacheco. Andrea Alvarez and Jorge Araujo were her most influencers teachers. In 2009 she started taking lessons at EMC (Contemporary School of Music) and EMPA (Popular School Music of Avellaneda) and some tutorials of harmony and composition and funky & jazz lessons with Gabriela Pastor and Ignacio Amil.
She was “drummer coach” for the tv serie “Violetta 2” (Disney); and she was the drummer of the “Asombrosa Banda de Zamba”, (one of the most recognized cartoon of the argentinian channel Paka Paka) touring more than 30 provinces and states of the country during 2 years.
From 2010 until now she's recording and playing drums in many proyects some as Javier Zuppi, Ovejas, Román Giudice, Ciro Fogliatta y Las Blusettes, Gordon Raphael (famous producer of The Strokes), Rock & Walsh, Babel Orkesta (band who took a lot of popularity being part of the movie “Relatos Salvajes”), Loco Son, Fakin Virgo, etc.
