Hi! I’m Yu. I’m 9 years old girl from Japan. I’ve been playing drums since I was 6. When I was watching video of Chad Smith from Red Hot Chili Peppers, I suddenly found out how he was playing. So I immediately asked my mom to let me learn drumming!! I wanted to see if I was correct asap!
I covered a song that was played by one of my most favorite Japanese female drummer, Nawo. To cover her drumming, I’ve been trying to play with double bass drum pedals for the past 3 months.
Lastly, thank you very much for giving us such a great opportunity to demonstrate my drum now, and hope everybody enjoy this great event together!! Arigatou!!
