Hi! I’m a female drummer from Thailand. I’m 25 years old. When I was eight years old, I began learning to play the drums. I’d never give up my passion for the drum path or the music field. As a result, I graduated from Mahidol University’s College of Music (Thailand) in the Music Business Department with a Major in Drum set.
At the moment, I have a YouTube Channel called “Little Things” where I create good content about drums such as free drum lessons, drum covers, product reviews, and more. In addition, I teach drums at my own studio in Thailand, “Little Things Family.” I currently work as an Artist for Meinl Cymbals Thailand, Meinl Stick & Brush Thailand, and Pearl Drums Thailand.
In terms of my drumming passion, I participated in the Singapore Drum Off 2018. I made it to the final round of the girl category, where I competed against the last six drum competitors in Asia. Furthermore, from 2019 to 2022, I competed in the biggest drum contests in Thailand, including Overdrive Drum Fact 3-4 in the open category. I made it into Thailand’s final eight drum competitors. I eventually become the Champion of Overdrive Live Rock Dream Team Contest, the domestic competition, in 2022. This year, I’m ready to take the next step and compete in the international Hit Like A Girl Contest, which will be my next goal.
The expression of this drum solo recalls the concept of Asian ritual by combining faith and modern creativity. My childhood memories serve as the starting point. I’d like to experiment with the concept of understandable belief in order to connect people who become involved through memory of everyday rituals namely Thailand – Thai Tom Tom Parade (Ram Klong Yao), China – Chinese New Year (Lion Dance), Korea – Mudangchum (Traditional Korean Shaman Dance), and etc. No matter how the world spins, the power of faith will always be with us. Because of my belief, I then challenge myself to arrange this drum solo.
I really enjoy and appreciate the challenge of creating a creative video clip using only drum kit and percussion sounds. The dynamic and lively sound in every part of the drum anatomy fascinates me. At last, I’m absolutely delighted to receive feedback from listeners who imagine and experiment to my drum solo.
