My name’s Sam, I’m a thirteen year old female drummer. I’ve been playing the drums for a few years, starting with just the snare drum and working my way up to the drum kit. A couple of my influences include Neil Peart and Dave Grohl, though I’m also really influenced by bands like Bikini Kill and Le Tigre. I enjoy playing the drums because not only do I love the instrument, I think it’s a way that I can show the world just what us girls can do!
