Hi, I’m Dimelo Ariel and I’m totally proud to be a representative of the urban genre in my country. When I decided to study music I never imagined that I would dedicate myself to the urban pop genre because it is a style normally created by men. However, the feminine environment that surrounded me at the university made me think that I could do whatever I wanted, as long as I did it with love. I have friends who are drummers, bassists, concert producers and guitarists, which seems crazy to me because it’s still a stereotype that musically women should only be singers.
Over time, I have trained myself through YouTube videos to learn much more about music production, I have released a couple of songs in the Peruvian industry, but the theme that I am going to present is the representation of my musical essence. I have combined Reggaeton sound, rhythm electric guitars, marching percussion sounds and vocal chops, which ends up giving a combination of Reggaeton and pop.
