Hi! My name is Julia, I come from Poland and I am 20 years old. I play the drums for over 10 years so far. I love to express myself through music, experiment with genres and create something unique. Every beat I invent starts off as a thought-through pattern in my head, which I then transfer to drumkit – just as if my hands were extensions of imagination. Playing the drums gives me an infinite freedom, a space where I combine creativity and precision. I draw a lot of inspiration from tight and funky grooves in Tom Misch’s discography, at times I also like to listen to unconventional combination of modern funk and oriental beats. No matter what kind of music I decide to play, my main rule for drumming is: play what makes people want to dance!
