My name is Caroline Chen and I’ve been playing drums for around 2 and a half years now, and this is my second time submitting to the HLAG contest. When I started playing in 5th grade, I knew nothing about percussion and had played piano my whole life. Little did I know I would fall in love with this instrument! This track “Born For This” by Paramore was so much fun and definitely a challenge. Its was also my first time editing my own video and experimenting with different camera angles. I am so honored to be able to participate in such an amazing and empowering competition with so many talented drummers!
