Hi, I’m Angel Bukata and I’m a 16-year-old drummer from South Florida! This is my second year participating in the Hit Like a Girl contest. At 8 years old, I fell in love with drums and dedicated myself to it ever since. I love to hit hard and bring lots of energy into the music I play. My biggest influences are Jay Weinberg, Taylor Hawkins, and Nicko McBrain. In honor of Taylor Hawkins, I chose “The Pretender” by Foo Fighters, which I played live with my band Exigent. Thank you for the opportunity to showcase my passion for drumming!
