Female Drumming Advocates Also Release “Power Pack 2.0”
With Free Educational Content From Top Media Companies For Young Drummers.
Lindsay Artkop, the champion of the 2015 Hit Like A Girl female drumming contest, performed at the Percussive Arts Society’s International Conference (PASIC) in San Antonio, Texas this past weekend. The New England native, who began drumming when she was just six years old, currently attends Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Her performance at PASIC was sponsored by PAS and Hit Like A Girl with additional support from Mapex, Zildjian, Vic Firth and Evans. Other event participants included Julie Hill (PAS), Debbie Zildjian (Zildjian) and Phil Hood (DRUM!).
